Privacy Policy

This policy explains how InfoSoft Technology Inc. collects, uses, safeguards and shares personal information through Barberos.

Last updated: September 18, 2026

1. Information we collect

  • Account and Shop information, such as names, email addresses, phone numbers, business details and team access information.
  • Booking information, such as Client name, phone number, email address, appointment details, notes, reminders and payment-deposit status.
  • Technical information needed to operate and protect the service, such as device, browser, IP and log information.
  • Business-listing search information when Google Places is used to help a Shop find or claim its listing.

2. How we use information

  • To create and operate Shop workspaces, public booking pages, calendars and customer communications.
  • To process subscriptions, deposits and payment-related support through our payment providers.
  • To authenticate users, prevent fraud and misuse, provide support, improve the service and meet legal obligations.
  • To send service messages such as confirmations, reminders, receipts, account notices and security updates. Marketing messages are sent only where permitted and include an unsubscribe option when required.

3. Information shared with service providers

We use carefully selected providers to operate Barberos. These may include providers for authentication, payment processing, email or messaging delivery, cloud hosting, analytics and business listing search. We share information only as needed for these services or as required by law.

Stripe processes payment card information. Barberos does not store full payment card numbers. A Shop that enables deposits uses its own connected Stripe account to receive those funds.

4. Shops and their Clients

Each Shop has an isolated workspace. The Shop is responsible for how it uses its Clients' booking information, for its appointment and cancellation policies, and for obtaining any consent it needs for its own communications. InfoSoft processes that information to provide and support Barberos.

5. Retention and safeguards

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, meet legal obligations and protect our rights. We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information; however, no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

6. Your choices and access

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information that InfoSoft controls, subject to legal and operational limits. Clients should first contact the Shop they booked with for questions about that Shop's appointment records. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing messages using the unsubscribe method in the message.

7. Canada and cross-border processing

Barberos is operated from Canada. Some service providers may process information in Canada, the United States or other jurisdictions where they operate. Information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We apply this policy and use contractual and organizational measures appropriate to the services we use.

8. Updates to this policy

We may revise this policy as Barberos changes or legal requirements evolve. We will post the updated policy here with a new last-updated date.
